Description:

The Northern Flicker is a woodpecker. I usually spot them on the grass trying to catch ants. They are large and brown with dots on their breast. and black stripes on their brown wings. a small red area on the back of the head. long beak. A very pretty bird with a white rump and yellow underwings. .
