Cercopis arcuata
Cercopis arcuata: Dorsal view (photos 1, 3, 4), Lateral view (photo 2), Mating pair (photo 5). Posterior red band on fore wing narrow, only slightly curved posteriorly (like C. intermedia and C. arcuata but unlike C. vulnerata which has posterior red band shaped as an obtuse "V"). Ventral plates (see photo 2) at connexivum completely red (unlike C. sanguinolenta which has ventral plates red with a central black spot). Legs completely black (unlike C. intermedia which has red "knees" (joints between femur and tibia).
