Description:

This Diptera, belongs to the family Bombyliidae, probably tribe Villini. The wings have the lower half transparent like in Hemipenthes so, but I'm not sure about the genre.

Habitat:

I took this picture in a place called Campamento Vespucio, a town in the north of Salta Province, Argentina. It's surrounded by the Yungas forest.
