White-lipped gardensnail

Cepaea hortensis

The snail usually has a shiny yellow shell. The shell varies widely in color, but has often up to five dark streaks wrapping around the shell. The principal distinguishing feature of this species is a white lip at the aperture of the shell.

After harvesting apples, I discovered this snail on one of them.
