Anaxyrus americanus
A large toad, close to 2 inches in size. Color was mostly brown and olive. It had a very light middorsal stripe and 1-2 warts in each dorsal spot.
Spotted in a wet, deciduous forest.

This looks like an Eastern American Toad. Less than three warts per dark spot.
