Veined Tip

Colotis vesta argillaceus

Description:

Pieridae family. It is found in the Afrotropic ecozone. The wingspan is 32–40 mm in males and 34–45 mm in females. The adults fly year-round.

Habitat:

Grassland and small bushes. Very lush grass in that area due to the last weeks of rain.

Notes:

The larvae feed on Maerua angolensis.
