A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Hyllus sp.
The biggest jumper I have spotted so far, a bit over 15 mm.
A leafless tree close to a pool of water. Open meadowland. (Hyena Pool)
As always with jumpers, this one was really trying to hide from me Amazing how the small creatures can be so aware of a photographer...
Thank you Ashutosh, it is a bit "bad boy" over those black horns :)
Thanks you Atul for the Species. Ill add it to the spotting.
Haha Neil! I guess you are right. This buddy is a hopeless case when it comes to hair style!
LOL this little guy is awesome. I don't feel so bad about having a bad hair day now. His is much worse :-)
Hej there Jakob! Nice to hear from you! We are having a great time, and time is running way too fast! There are so many things we still want to do! One of them is to explore more of the caves around here.
Thank you for the common name :) I will keep it in mind for sure. I hope the bats are treating you well! Best ones from the Swazi team (always looking for more African bats, but hardly ever see any that can be photographed ;D )
Hi Tiz, hope you're enjoying Swaziland! This one is called the Fluffy Jumper ;-)
