Description:

A pileated woodpecker is a very large woodpecker that is nearly the size of a crow. It has a black body and has white strips down its neck and on its face. It has a flaming red forehead and crest.

Thank you Jim. These were two different woodpeckers that were unusually cooperative. Most of the pileated woodpeckers in my area in Illinois are very shy and hard to capture. These two Florida birds were much more outgoing;)
