200 microns long, captured in a near surface plankton net 60-80 ft of water 6 am wind northwest about 7mph in kayak about 3/4 - 1 mile from shore The copepod appears to be inside a clear tube-like structure which is thwarting its attempts to move forward . Also curious about mace-like form below the copepod. It may be a radiolarian
