Elephant Weevil (beetle)

Possibly Grey Root Weevil. Male & female. Small about 1.5cm in length, female more grey tones, male grey with brown tones, elongated snout with jointed antennae attached to end, large dark eyes, pin head sized indented body & head.


Different species throughout Australia. These ones found on Eucalypt sapling in dry woodland forest in north east NSW.
