Description:

Large grey-brown arboreal bird of Turaco family, about 50cm in length.

Habitat:

This is common arboreal species and a resident breeder in open woodland habitats in tropical west Africa. Here, observed in urban setting of central Abuja, a residential area close to lake Jabi, with many gardens and a lot of trees.

Notes:

Once again, sorry about the poor quality of photos - taken at dusk, on a cloudy day of rainy season by a dying camera...
