Orange-Spotted Grouper

Epinephelus coioides

Description:

It is listed as commercial fish in the island of Lankayan and is often seen in the different dive sites of the area. It can grow up to 95 cm and is tan to dark grey brown with numerous orange spots on head, body and fins. It has 4 irregular ladder of H-shaped dark bars and 3-4 blackfish saddles on back.

Habitat:

Cement Wreck, Lankayan Island, Sabah.
