Rusty Anthelid Moth

Anthela ferruginosa

Description:

2cm pink moth with large off-white, feathery antennae

Habitat:

The weather has become colder and moths are gathering around the lights for heat rather than just light. In a garden at the apartment by a light bollard

Notes:

No research yet. It seems to be easier if a few specimen are dealt with at the same time. The moth has shoved itself in a corner of the container and may have its wings held in an unusual manner. It has the differing wing shapes mentioned in the references
