The Furrow Orb-weaver, Larinioides cornutus, are often found near water. The web is built between grasses, or in low shrubbery. They hide during the day in a silken retreat or between the greens,and they repair the web in the evening. This pictured female was spotted in Kato Gatzea, Pagasitikos gulf, Greece.
