Green-backed Camaroptera

Camaroptera brachyura

Description:

This is a very small (10 to 12cm in length) warbler from Cisticolidae family, with grey to green back, olive green wing covers and whitish-grey underparts. Orange socks are its distinguishing feature. It is a fast-moving, nervous and skulking small bird, very difficult to follow with camera.

Habitat:

Urban area, neighborhood with few gardens and trees...

Notes:

This little bird is fast-moving, nervous and skulking, and proved a very difficult one to catch relatively clearly on photo... We spent all afternoon together, but all my photos came out blurry to some degree... had to sharpen them later-on. And special thanks to Srdjan Cuturilov, for all the help extended in ID-ing this species (and all the help in ID-ing my photos in general).
