Agelenopsis
These Grass Spiders are in the classification of Funnel Web Spiders. Though fairly small they are can vary in size. These spiders are called Funnel Webs because they make a funnel like formation made out of silk. The web also has a kind of thin silk blanked which is nothing but trip wires. They wait just outside the Funnel for unsuspecting prey items to blunder into the trap then the Spider jumps and injects its venom into the helpless insect and drags it in to the Funnel to feed in peace.
