Carolina Wolf Spider

Description:

This is a Carolina Wolf Spider. They are mostly brown/tan and have a distinct black pattern on their back. They are venomous but not deadly to humans. They are one of the more common spiders to find and are not very aggressive but will bite. The wolf spider is a hunter and does not wait for food to come to it like most spiders. The Wolf spider is the biggest spider in United States and is nocturnal.

Habitat:

The Carolina Wolf Spider can be found throughout America in a variety of different environments. They can be found in forest, beaches, and urban areas.
