Clam lerp (lerp #25)

Description:

This snowy white clam lerp contained the nymph of a psyllid. The shape seems unusually undifferentiated as most have distinctive eyes and wing buds in late instars. The lerp is unusual in containing a chamber housing the largest nymph. The younger instars evident under the same lerp are more clearly differentiated. The larger one seems to occupy a central chamber.

Habitat:

On the leaf of a eucalyptus.
