Brown and black pupae with gold/shiny tips. Something had laid it on to a disused bicycle or it had moved on to it.

Those gold tips were really quite special but I have no idea what it is...

Butterfly pupa, what an odd location to pupate. I would keep the bike not in use until it hatches
