Branta canadensis
I just happened to be on the shore of a local lake when a big fight started between two male Canada Geese. The female sat on the sidelines and watched the whole thing. It was very heated and loud and I thought at one point that one of the two had been killed. The fight lasted about 20 minutes and I got a lot of photos. It was very hard deciding what photos I wanted to post. As I left the lake the two started honking at each other again and I had a feeling that the fight wasn't over.
I witnessed this fight at a small local lake surrounded by trees and tall grasses.
This fight took place the same day I took the other Canada Geese pictures that I posted earlier today.

Thanks Phil! Yeah, the fight broke out right in front of me. Since I've just recently taken up photography, I actually had my camera with me. A year ago I wouldn't have. It's a lot of fun!
Wow! Great series! I once saw a duck defending her ducklings from a gull and the duck was clearly trying to drown the gull. I didn't think to get my phone out at the time and take pics or video as I was fascinated by the exchange. I love watching animals be wild. :-)
Yeah it was a pretty exciting interchange between these two! They obviously didn't like each other! Ha ha
Oh... nevermind... just read your post.
Cool!! are these on your property or at a lake?
