Description:

It is a small monkey. It complements its diet with flowers, shoots, SAP and insects. They tend to live in areas of secondary growth or mixed forests. They form groups between 3 to 15 individuals, which defend their territory. In captivity they can live 13 years or more. Males contribute in caring for the young.-----------------------------------Es un mono de pequeño tamaño. Complementa su dieta con flores, retoños, savia e insectos. Tienden a vivir en áreas de crecimiento secundario o en bosques mixtos. Conforman grupos entre 3 a 15 individuos, los cuales defienden su territorio. En cautiverio pueden llegar a vivir 13 años o más. Los machos contribuyen en el cuidado de las crías.

Habitat:

Its distribution ranges from Costa Rica to Colombia, although it is particularly abundant in few locations in Panama.-------------------------------------Su distribución abarca desde Costa Rica a Colombia, aunque es particularmente abundante en pocas localidades de Panamá.
