Description:

These are my first photos of this bird, and I was about 2 seconds too late to get an amazing photo of him (the last photo in this series was the first I got of him, right after he took off from the pole he was perched on in perfect lighting). They are my favorite raptor :) Mostly dark bodied with dark patches below the eyes.

Habitat:

On the side of the road in thorn scrub habitat.
