Entoloma viridomarginata
Difficult to see in mixed grasses with moss and lichens this one was about 60mm tall. Colour except for white gills was a deeep teal including the gill margins which is an identifying feature.
Found at the edge of a local national park just off a rough vehicular track. Many other species were very close by. Apparently growing from soil.
These are extremely variable in colour including cream, yellow, aqua, olive, green, blue and teal and sometimes combinations of these. Check out the gallery on ALA here.. https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://i...
E viridomarginatum is used on some taxos and viridomarginata on others creates a potential problem.
