Description:

Gecko of about 7cm body length, excluding the tail. Grey/brown cryptic colouration with pale spots on the tail; spiny appearance.

Habitat:

Found in an arid area on the western slope of the Ecuadorian Andes, called "Desierto de Jubones", at about 1500m above sea level.
