I know this guy is dead, but I'm very curious to find out what it was so I can check out some info on them and see some images of them alive. Any one have any info on this guy?

Could also be the mermaid's purse of a skate.

Its the egg casing of a manta ray or dogfish. Look up "mermaid's purse"
