Description:

A distinctive looking skipper with forewings that are rather straight and hindwings that are more angular on the margins, especially when compared to other skippers. Wings are 24-35 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted at the National Butterfly Center near Mission, Texas.

Notes:

Adults feed on flower nectar. Range from South Texas to Guatemala.
