Green treefrog

Hyla cinerea

Description:

This is a small adult. When green treefrogs are cold, they become a darker green color, which helps them absorb heat more effectively. She was found under a board on a cold day. In the first two pictures you can see how dark she is, but the third picture shows her after she'd warmed up from being held and getting some sun.
