A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I would appreciate some help with an ID for this one. A jumping spider, about 10mm long, slightly larger than cosmophasis. A distinctive, painted pattern on top or cephalothorax. Reddish eyes with white spectacle markings.
Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.
I have photographed this distinctive jumper on five occasions and have failed to find an ID. Really hoping that someone can help me out with this special spider.

Yes, I saw your telamonia spider and I am sure that Atul has correctly identified it as such. But there are obvious differences between the carapace patterns of yours and mine.
The pattern is consistent, as I have photographed this same spider from other locations several kilometers apart. I also have both sexes and the carapace pattern is the same for both.
