Eastern Glass Lizard

Description:

They differ from snakes, though, in that they have moveable eyelids, external ear openings, and inflexible jaws.

Habitat:

Pine Flatwoods

Notes:

Glass lizards earned their name by their propensity to "shatter" by breaking their tail, often in several pieces
