Thanks for the Id and the comments, I'm not sure between it being a Blue Pansy cocoon or A Peacock Pansy cocoon. I've spotted lemon, blue and grey pansys in the area.

I am not sure which of Thailand's six Junonia occur in Phang Nga Province, but the color and contour of this CHRYSALIS perfectly match that of J. almana.

Nymphalidae, Nymphalinae, Junonini is safe. I think it is Junonia almana, but I will be sure and will ask an expert for that one. There are some other Junonias around and I do not know how all the other ones look like.
