A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
moduza procris
Around 25mm in length, different mottled shades of brown with spiny tufts along the sides of the caterpillar. There are longer spines, around 5mm, near the back of the head and the head itself has small spines of red and black.
I was unable to identify the host plant, but was growing beside a freshwater river, 232m above sea level.
