Crab Apple

Description:

A just flowering Crab Apple tree. These trees produce small apples which when harvested in season are bitter-sweet, and out of season are sour-sweet.

Notes:

These trees are pollinated in part by the resident House Sparrows who were all through the trees when I was photographing it
