Description:

Multiple stages of blooms on a Musk Thistle caught on the same plant at the same time! (See last picture for whole plant.) It is native to Eurasia but has invaded many other continents.

Habitat:

Growing from a parting in a rock wall in a parking lot.

Notes:

Also called a Nodding Thisle.
