Morchella punctipes

I want to say that this is a half-free morel, but I'm not certain. Any ideas?

Thank you, Neil! It was actually my first time ever encountering one, so it was definitely interesting!

Nice spotting. Morels are an odd-looking fungus. Very cool.

If it is a half-free morel, it’s gotta be M. populiphila or M. punctipes.
