Description:

Very striking raptor, bright yellow eyes and brown-black and white feather coloring. They are very large birds comparable with a smaller Bald eagle in weight and size. .

Habitat:

Riparian

Notes:

A nesting pair that was present at the nest during my observation time. Their nest choice was on top of a large man-made nesting platform situated in the middle of a field. Beautiful birds.
