Painted Redstart

Myioborus pictus

Habitat:

Drainage in mixed woodland

Notes:

In my opinion, no other warbler matches the Painted Redstart in the flashiness of its plumage. This species was common at the Slate Creek Divide and responded well to our "pishing".
