? Comb-clawed Beetle

Family: Tenebrionidae


A dark brown (maroon) beetle about 20 mm long. Elytra was deeply grooved. A narrow head showed large eyes, protruding mouthparts, and long antennae. Legs had thick femurs and orange tarsi.


Spotted under bright lights near a sports field.


Family: Tenebrionidae Subfamily: Alleculinae Looks similar to : Also has similarities with: ( Dimorphochilus sp) would like assistance with the ID. thanks
