Thanks, @MrsPbio and @Malcolm for the comments and ID :)

Hi MrsPbio, the latest Clements listing shows that Zosterornis whiteheadi is the correct current scientific name as of 2015. A lot of changes are taking place in taxonomy as newer methods are devised, especially from DNA testing. Clements is being continually updated but books being books only get updated if new editions are printed. The Clements list can be found here: http://www.birds.cornell.edu/clementsche... and using this site you should be able to track down the reason for the change as a listing of all changes is available on an annual basis. A new update is expected in the summer.
For the reasons stated earlier your suggestion has been removed to avoid confusion.
In cases such as this we prefer the comments sections to be used for discussions about differences in taxonomic naming, and also Common naming, as this also helps to avoid confusion.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

The scientific name for this in my book "A Guide to the Birds of the Philipines"- Kennedy, Gonzales, et al, is Stachyris whiteheadi . My old Du Pont guide has been packed away since it is so outdated.

Nice shot. I'll try to ID it when I get home and can get at my book of Phil. birds. It looks vaguely familiar. :)
