We were just hit with a big ice storm that covered all of the newly blossomed maple flowers (and everything else) in ice. The flowers covered in ice were the size of golf balls. This is one of the flower sets starting to melt out.

Thanks Jemma. It was really neat to see. I think there will be far less maple seeds to clean up this year!
