Oxytate virens
aka Grass crab spider - as with other crab spiders... it is a master of ambush and disguise... stalking its prey at night from an ambush position on a grass stem or from the underside of a leaf. has ability to sense vibrations caused by invertebrates moving on the upper side of the leaf... and then quickly pounces on the victim. while in ambush position on twigs or grass... the short hind legs hold onto the stem while the long anterior legs I and II are stretched forward.!
