Painted Bronzeback

Dendrelaphis pictus

Description:

long, slender, about 80cm

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

One of two snakes I spotted in Tangkoko Batuangus National Park. This snake was resting on a bush at about waist level right on the trail. My guide actually walked right past it and I noticed it after he passed.
