Trichophaga robinsoni

Trichophaga robinsoni

Description:

Small moth c 1/2" long.

Notes:

Martin Honey has identified my mystery moth as Trichophaga robinsoni a member of the Tineidae family and believes it has not been recorded from Cape Verde before. It's range is Madeira and Porto Santo, and also occurs on the Canary Islands, the Selvagens Islands and in Western Sahara. Pretty exciting!
