Oh and by the way, you can definitely change it from "other" to "arthropod".

I believe this is a Cicada nymph. I'm not 100% sure of species, but it looks very much like Platypedia putnami which occurs in the area.

I think you may have a mole cricket. I think its not an adult yet, having no wings therefore differs from the image in the link. http://naturescrusaders.wordpress.com/20...
