Description:

The sight of this elusive big cat is always a special one! This male was actually on a hunt that ended in an unsuccessful attempt. It was quite a nail-biting experience watching him stalk the unsuspecting Himalayan Ibex.

Habitat:

High alpine areas of the Himalayas, approx 14500 Feet.

Thank you so much for featuring this majestic beauty as spotting of the week. I've been photographing and conducting expeditions to photograph Snow Leopards for many years, but the excitement and joy of encountering one have always been a constant!
