Help appreciated on this one. Has a junoniini look about it, but I have exhausted that possibility.
Changi airport butterfly garden
Not the best of examples, still it should have been easy to identify, but I came up blank.
Bayucca - I think I agree with you, as the image was not consistent with the rest of the images on the same site. Seems we have an anomaly here. I will leave it a few days and if nothing new comes up, I will add vidula sp.
Student - thank you for your suggestion, but that suggestion has already been posted!

If that ID from the link is correct, than this would be confirmation of Vindula dejone. Sorry, for being so sceptic, but 99% of Dejone would not have these additional spots and sometimes just these little spots can make you crazy if they are there, but shouldn't be or are of the wrong size or shape and worst thing, are on the wrong place!
I find it interesting that something has taken a bite out of it, within the protection of a butterfly garden!

I found this 0n FOBI, it is very close, but no quite. What do you think?

Yes, Vindula dejone, but!
What about the additional spots on the hindwing??? I never have seen a Cruiser with more than 4 large spots. Here are 2 medium extraspots next to the large ones??
