Wasp might be very variable concerning the size, extension of the bands. Look at this one, where you clearly can see this red spots:

I think its a paper wasp bayucca. But the scientific name must be different. Because this one has two red spots on its abdomen.
Need to be verified!! I am not so into wasps ;-)...
