Wild Geranium

Geranium maculatum

Description:

A group of 2-10 lavender flowers, individual flowers are made up of 5 heavily veined lavender petals. Basal leaves on long stalks. Leaves are coarsely toothed and deeply veined with 5-7 elongated lobes, only 2-3 stem leaves per plant.

Habitat:

dry, shade, deciduous woods, meadows

Notes:

Spotted near North Tamarac Lake Access on Woodpecker Trail.
