Burrowing bug

Description:

Burrowing bugs look a lot like beetles at first glance, but their typical Hemipteran wing coverings give them away. I found a lot of them on/near some Euphorbia plants in the local Botanical Garden - their ID is based largely on their association with those plants. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
