Weaver Ant Queen

Description:

This is a Weaver Ant queen that i found on the wall of my house. This ant queen is green in color, and it still has its wings. The size of this ant queen is about 15 mm in length. Here is my old spotting of a Weaver Ant queen - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/120....

Habitat:

- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the garden and bushes.

Notes:

- Weaver Ants are social insects of the family Formicidae. They make nests in trees made of leaves stitched together using the silk produced by their larvae. In Malay, it's called 'Kerengga'.
