Small fly, body length 4mm, grass green halteres. Curious wing movements, forward and back, whilst resting.

Habitat:

Spotted on Guinea grass (Urochloa Maxima) at James Cook University, Cairns QLD

Seioptera or Parapalaeosepsis fly, possibly Parapalaeosepsis compressa.
